Shopping!
Since we have returned to the bilingual kindergarten, we have been very busy with our new theme, SHOPPING. All of our children have been creating their own shopping trolleys, full of shopping.
Last week, the pre-school children worked on their individual shopping lists, and on Tuesday the 18th of January, we were lucky enough to be able to go on a shopping trip to the independent grocer’s shop, ‘Merry Mare’. Ugur Mal introduced us all to exotic fruits and we were able to try a Turkish apple; the children all liked it very much!!!! Ugur was extremely generous to our children and she gave all of them a clementine to take with them.
We would like to say a big ‘Thank You!’ to her for her time, generosity and patience!
She will be supporting us over the next few weeks as more shopping trips are planned!!!!
